Kiran Mohandas Menon

Biography

Kiran Mohandas Menon is a lawyer specialised in international law and transitional justice. Apart from his long association with the Nuremberg Academy (including a stint with its Founding Office and later as a Project Officer from 2017-2021), Mr Menon has extensive international experience having worked on international law and human rights matters in India, Sri Lanka, Spain, Greece, Ireland, Costa Rica and Germany. Mr Menon is a Visiting Faculty at the United Nations mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica. He has previously worked in the investment arbitration department of the Spanish law firm Cuatrecasas in Madrid, prepared briefs in relation to universal jurisdiction proceedings for the Guernica Centre for International Justice and taught courses on international human rights law at the Irish Centre for Human Rights at the University of Galway. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law and a masters in international law and international relations. He is fluent in English and Malayalam and proficient in Spanish.
