Biography

Ana-Maria Negrilă is a junior legal professional specialised in public international law and international criminal law. She completed her LL.M. studies in Public International Law at the University of Amsterdam, where her thesis focused on the applicability of personal immunities in the context of accountability efforts for the crime of aggression committed against Ukraine. She also holds two Bachelor’s Degrees in law from the University of Bucharest and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Prior to joining the Nuremberg Academy, she completed internships with the T.M.C. Asser Instituut, the Defence Team of Mr Jakup Krasniqi before the Kosovo Specialist Chambers and the Delegation of the European Union to the Council of Europe.

She is fluent in Romanian and English and proficient in French.
