Director Professor Dr Safferling as an expert in the Legal Affairs Committee

On January 31 2024, the Bundestag's Committee on Legal Affairs held a hearing on the reform of the International Criminal Code (VStGB). Director Professor Dr Safferling commented in particular on the structure of victim participation in the form of accessory prosecution for international criminal offenses and on the question of strengthening the broader impact of proceedings for international crimes in Germany.
