Panel Discussion

On 13 October 2025, the Nuremberg Academy in cooperation with the Centre for Human Rights Erlangen-Nürnberg (CHREN) and the Australian Human Rights Institute (University of New South Wales) co-organised a panel discussion titled " Feminist Judgments and the International Criminal Court". The discussion examined the connections between gender, race, nationality, ethnicity, faith and sexual orientation in relation to the practice of the International Criminal Court.

This panel discussion was part of a series of events which included a book launch of the open-access volume Feminist Judgments: Reimagining the International Criminal Court  at the Centre for Women, Peace and Security at the London School of Economics, and a panel discussion at Sciences Po, Paris. Judge Navi Pillay, a member of the Advisory Council of the Nuremberg Academy, will launch the book in Australia in November 2025.

Please find the programme for the event below. Visit the website of the Centre for Human Rights Erlangen-Nürnberg (CHREN) for more information.  (km)
