The International Nuremberg Principles Academy is pleased to announce that the Ethical Principles for International Criminal Judges, which were developed as part of the project "Ethica, on the Path to a Common Code of Ethics for International Criminal Judges", are now also available in German.

Originally drafted in English, the Ethical Principles aim to establish a universal set of ethical principles for judges serving in international criminal courts and tribunals. These principles focus on upholding the highest standards of impartiality, integrity, fairness and transparency in the administration of justice in cases involving serious international crimes, such as war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.

The availability of the Ethical Principles in different languages including German is essential for fostering a shared understanding of ethical standards among international judges. It also underscores the commitment to ensuring that ethical considerations remain at the forefront of international judicial processes. (bk)
