Adolf Blöchl, the President of Police Headquarters in Middle Franconia, and several members of his office visited the Nuremberg Academy on 15 May 2024. Director Professor Dr Christoph Safferling welcomed the group and introduced the work of the Academy. Project Officers Dr Emma Brandon, Dr Pauline Martini and Dr Pablo Gavira Díaz also represented the Academy in this important visit. The Academy’s delegation provided an overview of the Academy’s three pivotal areas of work: public discourse, capacity strengthening and research. Other topics discussed included the situation in Gaza, the war in Ukraine and related challenges for current international criminal justice. (pg)
