On the 9 and 10 March, the Nuremberg Academy hosted a group of representatives of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, the ICCBA and the Beirut Bar Association working on the establishment of a universal Common Code of Conduct for defence lawyers. This Code of Conduct for Counsel practising before the International Criminal Tribunals will be solemnly adopted in Nuremberg during the Fifth International Meeting of Defence on 8, 9 and 10 November 2017. The Nuremberg Academy will co-organize this event and is very honoured to contribute through this partnership to the aim of progressively harmonizing professional practice worldwide.
