Academy Director Professor Dr Christoph Safferling met with Mr Reinhard Röttle, General Public Prosecutor in Munich on 17 May 2023. Professor Safferling introduced the Academy and its mission to the highest Prosecutor of Bavaria. They discussed ways to cooperate, in particular in the fields of antisemitism and hate speech. In both areas the Munich General Public Prosecutor holds special competences within the prosecution authorities in Bavaria. Director Safferling and General Public Prosecutor Röttle agreed that they need to bring together national and international forces to fight antisemitism and hate speech.
