On 4 and 6 June 2024, the Nuremberg Academy, the Asser Institute and the Antonio Cassese Initiative held the online part of their “Seminar on the Prosecution of International Crimes in Africa”. Participants are 20 magistrates from francophone Central and Western Africa. Professor Robert Roth delivered the sessions of 4 June, which covered evidential issues, including the establishment of modes of liability. Stanislas Talontsi and Julie André led the sessions of 6 June on the principle of complementarity and the International Criminal Court. The programme will continue in the premises of the Asser Institute in The Hague from 1 to 5 July 2024. (pm)
