Visit from student group from Israel

 

On 25 April, the International Nuremberg Principles Academy welcomed a student group from Israel from the Radzyner Law School, Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya, as part of their study trip to Nuremberg. Yael Vias Gvrisman, Director of the International Criminal and Humanitarian Law Clinic/Transitional Justice Clinic, organized the study trip for the undergraduate students. Deputy Director Dr. Viviane Dittrich gave a presentation on the work of the Nuremberg Academy highlighting activities in the areas of research, capacity building and human rights education. In a lively discussion the students discussed, inter alia, dealing with the past in Germany, the acceptance of international criminal law in various countries worldwide and the prevention and accountability for hate speech.
