A group of legal trainees from the Regional Court of Regensburg visited the Nuremberg Academy and the Memorium Nuremberg Trials, on 25 July 2023. Director Professor Dr Christoph Safferling welcomed them at the Academy after they had visited the Memorium. After a first round of questions and answers, the documentary "The Trial of the Jurists" was screened and discussed together. In the last part of the afternoon, the young jurists worked out the methodological dodges of the Nazi jurists on the basis of an original judgement of the Special Court of Innsbruck from 1944. Under the direction of Professor Dr Safferling, the Nuremberg Academy has set itself the task of making young lawyers in particular aware of the perversion of the rule of law by National Socialism.
