A group of legal trainees from the Regional Court of Traunstein visited the Nuremberg Academy on 13 November 2023. Director Professor Dr Christoph Safferling welcomed the group, which previously had the opportunity to learn more about the birthplace of modern international criminal law at the Memorium Nuremberg Trials.
After a first round of questions and answers at the premises of the Academy, the documentary “The Trial of the Jurists” was screened and discussed together. In the last part of the afternoon, the young jurists worked out the methodological dodges of the Nazi jurists, with particular emphasis on cases before the Special Courts (Sondergerichte). (pg)
