Legal Trainees from the Higher Regional Court Nuremberg at the Nuremberg Academy

When you study Law in Germany it is required by law that you also study the National Socialist past and the perversion of the legal system. The Nuremberg Academy has suggested a programme together with the Higher Regional Court and the Memorium Nuremberg Trials for legal trainees to visit the Memorium and the Academy. On 16 May, a first group of legal trainees from Nuremberg was welcomed in the east building of the Palace of Justice. Director Professor Dr Christoph Safferling discussed the Judges’ Trial, one of Nuremberg subsequent trials, and National Socialist methodology with the young lawyers. In the future, this programme will be opened for legal trainees outside of Nuremberg, too.
