On 5 June 2024, a small delegation from the Department of Folklore at the Argentinian Universidad Nacional de las Artes visited the Nuremberg Academy. Project Officer Dr Pablo Gavira Díaz welcomed the group and introduced the mission and work of the Academy. Special emphasis was placed on the strengthening capacity branch, which aims at developing the skills and abilities of legal professionals in the context of the investigation and prosecution of international crimes. Other topics included the relevancy of the Nuremberg Principles today, the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court and the situation of human rights in Argentina and Spain. (pg)
