Director Professor Christoph Safferling took part in the international conference of the Federal Ministry of Justice: Responding to crimes under international law: Holding war criminals to account on 23 February 2024. He spoke at a panel on „Support for victims of crimes under international law“. On that occasion he also met the Federal Minister of Justice, Marco Buschmann. The Minister commended the work of the Nuremberg Academy and the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg in putting together the database on International Criminal Law in Germany and underlined its importance for international cooperation in prosecuting international crimes.
