A broad international audience gathered at the historic Courtroom 600 in the Nuremberg Palace of Justice in Nuremberg, Germany, on 21 October 2018, to watch the very first screening of this documentary in presence of the filmmakers Ilona Kalmbach and Sabine Jainski (competent filmproduktion).

The documentary presents the life and legacy of Judge Thomas Buergenthal, honorary president of the Advisory Council of the International Nuremberg Principles Academy, 70 years after the adoption of the Nuremberg Principles and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Since its founding, Judge Buergenthal has been committed to the Nuremberg Academy. The film also shows the work of the Nuremberg Academy in dealing with crimes against humanity and supporting the fight against impunity for international crimes in our times.

The president of the Advisory Council of the Nuremberg Academy, former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay gave the opening remarks.
