Director Professor Dr Christoph Safferling took part in the presentation of the Ethical Principles for International Criminal Judges at a side event during the International Law Week at the United Nations in New York. For the last three years the Nuremberg Academy was part of this project together with the Siracusa Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights and the École Nationale de la Magistrature. Twenty-five principles of ethical behaviour for international judges were formulated, which had been launched on 22 September 2023.
