On 16 May 2023, Deputy Director Dr Viviane Dittrich and Anabela Alves, Senior Officer for Training and Capacity Building, were invited to participate in a seminar on “International Criminal Justice and Vulnerable Victims”. The high-level event was held at the Quai d’Orsay, Paris and organised by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Institut Francophone pour la justice et la démocratie –Institut Louis Joinet. The event brought together five Presidents of international criminal courts and tribunals as expert speakers, including Graciela Gatti Santana (MICT), Piotr Hofmanski (ICC), Ivana Hrdlicková (STL), Michel Landry Lounga (SCC) and Ekaterina Trendafilova (KSC). The roundtable was moderated by Nicolas Guillou, international judge at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers.
