Prof. Dr Eckart Conze and around 30 history students from Philipps-University Marburg visited the Nuremberg Academy on 2 July 2024 as part of a study trip to Nuremberg on the theme of “From Nuremberg to The Hague”. Project Officers Dr Emma Brandon and Dr Pablo Gavira Díaz welcomed the group and provided them with an introduction to the Academy’s work. They also provided in-depth presentations on the post-World War II trials in Nuremberg with a specific focus on the subsequent Nuremberg trial known as the Ministries trial. The discussion that followed focused on complementarity, universal jurisdiction and the relevance of the Nuremberg legacy today. (eb)
