80 years after the judgment at Nuremberg, we are focusing specifically on the crime of aggression and the need to prevent future wars and acts of aggression. We thus support the amendment of the Rome Statute in order to bring the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court regarding the crime of aggression in line with that of the other core crimes. We are also committed to strengthening the international legal order with regard to the system of peace and security.
