“Nuremberg – Bringing Crimes against Humanity to Justice in 1945“ Thomas Darnstädt presented his new book at the Nuremberg Memorial

On 13 May, 2015, the International Nuremberg Principles Academy and the Memorium Nuremberg Trials invited the public to a reading by jurist and author Thomas Darnstädt at the Jury Courtroom. After some introductory remarks from Academy Founding Director Bernd Borchardt and the Memorial’s Curator, Henrike Claussen, Darnstädt read from his recently published book, “Nuremberg – Bringing Crimes against Humanity to Justice in 1945.” He then discussed with historian Prof. Dr. Jost Dülffer and international criminal law expert Prof. Dr. Claus Kress how the Nuremberg Trials led to the evolution of modern international criminal law.
