Nuremberg Moot Court 2022

The Nuremberg Moot Court is organised each year by the International Nuremberg Principles Academy and the International Criminal Law Research Unit at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. The Nuremberg Moot Court 2022 was held as an online event from 01 to 15 July 2022. University teams from all over the world were invited to argue a fictitious case before the "International Criminal Court".

A moot court is a simulated court proceeding which invites students of law to compete based on their oral and written legal argumentation and presentation, from both the prosecution and defence positions. Dissecting both complex procedural and substantive issues of international criminal law, students are given the unique opportunity to develop their lawyering skills and plead before a bench of "judges" comprised of highly esteemed professionals, such as national and international judges, academics, and other legal practitioners.

Teams could apply for the Nuremberg Moot Court 2022 from 15 November 2021 to 17 January 2022. For more information please click here.
