Navi Pillay, former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, visited a High School in Nuremberg. Addressing about 250 students, Ms. Pillay explained the meaning of human rights in everyday life. Ms. Pillay emphasized the importance of freedom of expression and warned about the threat that the internet poses to individual privacy. Students were given the opportunity to ask questions following the lecture. As a member of the Advisory Council, Navi Pillay shares her expertise with the Nuremberg Academy.
