On 17 November 2025, Jolana Makraiová, Senior Officer for Interdisciplinary Research at the International Nuremberg Principles Academy, participated in the second annual networking event focusing on “Empowering Women in International Law”. The event was organised by the International Association of Women Judges and the GQUAL Campaign, with the support of the International Law Students Association. The event gathered more than 62 women speakers from 40+ international organisations across six continents. More than 130 women students were selected, following an application procedure. Jolana shared her experience studying abroad, working in international settings and transitioning to the non-profit sector, as well as reflected on her motivation and challenges working in international law. She was joined by Legal Intern Luisa Hofmann who participated as a student facilitator and moderated some of the discussions. (jm)
