Representatives of the Nuremberg Catholic Church visited the Nuremberg Academy

On 22 May 2025, City Dean Vicar Capitular Andreas Lurz together with three of his collegues of the Nuremberg Catholic Church visited the International Nuremberg Principles Academy. Director Christoph Safferling and Project Officer Astrid Walter welcomed the group and introduced the mission and activities of the Academy. The conversation focused on the activities of the Academy in the City of Nuremberg. Key topics were possible avenues for increasing the Academy's visibility and its impact within the local society, as well as expanding local educational programmes in the areas of political education and remembrance culture. Further subjects of the discussion centred on human rights within the context of criminal law and the broader society. (aw)
