Students from the Bundeswehr University Munich visited the Nuremberg Academy

On 6 November 2024, Professor Dr Stephan Lindner, Dr Donald Riznik and a group of students from the Bundeswehr University Munich visited the premises of the Nuremberg Academy. Director Professor Dr Christoph Safferling welcomed the participants and explained the role of the Academy. This was followed by a presentation of its activities and projects by Project Officer Dr Pablo Gavira Díaz. Dr Gavira Díaz also spoke about the Nuremberg Trials and the Nuremberg Principles, and their relevancy today. Other topics for discussion included the character and jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court, the recent initiatives on ecocide and gender apartheid as well as the principle of universal jurisdiction.
