On 15 October 2024, President Dr Magda Luthay and members of the Zonta Club of Erlangen visited the Nuremberg Academy. Director Professor Dr Christoph Safferling welcomed the group in historic Courtroom 600, where the visitors watched the media installation “Courtroom 600: Time Travel”. This was followed by a Q&A with Professor Safferling on the Nuremberg legacy and how relevant it is today.
In addition, Professor Safferling led the group to the premises of the Nuremberg Academy, located beneath Courtroom 600, to speak about its mission and activities. The topic of gender-based and sexual violence in armed conflict was the subject of an engaging discussion among the participants, who also showed interest in the current conflicts in Ukraine and Palestine.
